Virginia’s cyclospora case count has risen to 162, a jump of 36 cases from the previous week, according to data from the Virginia Department of Health as of July 30, 2026.
Of the 162 cases, 89 were domestically acquired — up 23 from the previous week. Another 36 cases were internationally acquired, up 5 from the previous week. The remaining 37 cases are unknown or pending, an increase of 8.
