One of Southern California’s most recognizable heavy music venues is preparing to close its doors.
Brick By Brick, the longtime San Diego club operated by former As I Lay Dying drummer Jordan Mancino and co-owner Shannon, has announced it will vacate its Bay Park location later this month after 12 years under their current ownership.
The independent venue revealed that its final concerts at 1130 Buenos Avenue will take place on August 12th and 13th. In a statement shared on social media, the owners described the closure as the end of the venue’s chapter at its current location, while leaving open the possibility that Brick By Brick could return elsewhere in the future…
