JANS – As extreme summer temperatures trigger strict new safety regulations for outdoor sports, the Lanier Junior/Senior High School community and alumni have mobilized to protect their student-athletes.
On Tuesday, July 21, local supporters officially launched the 10th Annual Water and Gatorade Drive. The initiative ensures that approximately 200 students training for sports and auxiliary activities – including band and cheerleading – remain safely hydrated. The drive officially continued July 21-24, but donations will be accepted throughout the year.
