TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa Public Schools have released the results of the 2026 Oklahoma State Testing Program assessments saying they saw growth for the third consecutive year.
The district states they saw improvements in every grade level for both math and reading, which includes English Language Arts (ELA) where the district saw a two-point year-over-year improvement for third graders in achieving “basic”, “proficient”, or “advanced”.
In math, TPS saw gains in basic across all grade levels and that 1,852 students are now proficient or advanced. 5th graders saw a 3.4 percentage point increase for students categorized as basic. Middle schoolers saw a 2.3 percentage point improvement…
