More than 200 Regional Transportation District bus operators began training Monday in the center lanes of East Colfax Avenue as the agency prepares for bus-only lane operations from Broadway to Colorado Boulevard this fall.
Training will continue daily between Grant Street and Williams Street until the bus-only lane operations begin, according to an RTD news release.
Operators are practicing in the center bus-only lanes to access the Pennsylvania, Downing and Franklin stations. Those lanes are closed to all other vehicles, including bicycles and scooters, RTD said…
