A person was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Butler Road Thursday evening.
It happened at approximately 5:15 p.m., according to Christian County Sheriff’s Department Public Information Officer John Godsey, who says a southbound truck ran off the roadway in the area of Gospel Peace Road for an unknown reason.
The truck hit an embankment, causing it to flip multiple times, with the driver ejected in the process. Life saving measures were performed at the scene, but were ultimately unsuccessful.
