Christian County Judge-Executive Jerry Gilliam has requested all American flags be lowered to half-staff until the end of Tuesday, August 11, in honor of Mrs. Ruth Mason.
She was currently serving as assistant county treasurer when she died Thursday, August 6, and for the past six decades had served Christian County government in some way.
