NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — The annual Tomato Art Fest will officially kick off Friday evening, but street closures will be in effect starting in the morning.
The annual festival is an East Nashville staple, taking over the Five Points neighborhood with plenty of art, decorations, outfits and more all about the State Fruit of Tennessee.
Festivities begin at 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 7, but in order to keep the festival footprint safe for pedestrians, the Nashville Department of Transportation and Multimodal Infrastructure will begin blocking neighborhood streets in the immediate festival area hours before…
