WOONSOCKET, R.I. (WPRI) — A 30-year-old man is facing charges after allegedly stabbing his pregnant girlfriend to death in Woonsocket.
Officers were called to a home on Sayles Street just before 3 p.m. Thursday for a welfare check and found a 29-year-old woman dead with several stab wounds to her neck.
