FAULKNER COUNTY, Ark. (KATV) — Nearly three years after Lake Conway was drained for a major renovation, the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission said the five-year restoration project has passed the halfway mark.
Construction crews are rebuilding the lake’s infrastructure while adding new habitat designed to improve fishing once the lake reopens. But as work continues, some nearby businesses and residents said the prolonged closure is still taking a toll.
