ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – Gov. Mike Dunleavy, R-Alaska, echoed a message he’s been sending to lawmakers for months Thursday morning: pass legislation to make the gas line a reality.
“If we get working on [the gas line] ASAP, if we can get this bill passed that needs to be passed regarding property tax and the gas line, we will become, in my opinion, the center of the world,” Dunleavy told an Anchorage committee room filled with members of the all-Republican minority, as well as several members of the bipartisan majority.
