New Hope Church’s move from a movie theater to its own property has been an odyssey, with the journey beginning even before the church started services at the AMC Theatres building in Edwardsville.
The congregation will move into its new building at 4900 S. Illinois 159 in Glen Carbon in mid-2027, New Hope Pastor Phil Sadaka said. Site work began two months ago on the property.
