Crash on westbound I-64 in Illinois temporarily causes traffic backup

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) – A crash on westbound Interstate 64 in Illinois caused a 2- to 3-mile backup for drivers heading toward St. Louis Friday morning.

The crash occurred on the interstate between Illinois Route 111 and 25th Street after a car ran off the road and struck a guardrail, according to Illinois State Police.
