PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A string of robberies that targeted five locations across northeast Salem in 2024 has led to a lengthy prison sentence for the man responsible.
The Salem Police Department said “serial” robber James K. Lucas, 58, was sentenced on July 29 to 14 years in the Oregon Department of Corrections after pleading guilty to multiple robbery charges stemming from incidents that occurred between June and December 2024 in northeast Salem.
