Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose is reminding voters to make sure their voter registration is up to date as the state continues cleaning up its voter rolls.
The process is meant to remove old or inactive voter registrations while making sure eligible Ohioans can still vote.
The state looks for registrations that may no longer be valid in two ways. It checks for people who have moved without updating their voter registration, and it also identifies voters who have not voted, updated their registration, or responded to election mail for six years…
