Here’s what the First Alert Weather Team said you can expect for the forecast:
- Spotty showers have been streaming onshore all afternoon and evening on Friday
- While we have clouds overhead Friday night, most spots stay dry
- A shower or two will flirt with the coast overnight
- A few showers will move inland mainly in SE GA Saturday morning
- Then Saturday afternoon and evening will feature more rain and storms
- Saturday will be stormier than the last few days
- Sunday will also bring storms, but generally less coverage than Saturday
- Monday morning – Back To School – will be humid but dry with a few afternoon storms
- The onshore winds from the last few days will shift more southerly through Monday
- That will allow both sea breezes to converge near I-95/Hwy 301 each afternoon
- Drier air moves in Tuesday, bringing just isolated storms each day thru the weekend
- Temps get HOT, back in the mid to upper 90s each day too

- No active storms
- Very weak low pressure just off the FL coast will drift up toward the Carolinas by Monday
- Development is not expected with this area
