Two Columbus men arrested in Scioto County drug trafficking investigation

PORTSMOUTH, Ohio (WCMH) — Two Columbus men were arrested in southern Ohio after an investigation into drug trafficking.

According to the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office, a Portsmouth police SWAT team, along with county deputies and agents with the Southern Ohio Drug Task Force, executed a search warrant at a home on U.S. 52 near Norfolk Street in Portsmouth.

Authorities seized over 200 grams of suspected narcotics, including 118 grams of suspected fentanyl and 87 grams of suspected crack cocaine.
