MARIETTA, S.C. (WSPA) – The South Carolina Department of Parks, Recreation & Tourism (SCPRT) and the Palmetto Trail announced the opening for the newest section of the Palmetto Trail.
The Henry Passage is a 1.5-mile out-and-back trail with an 800-foot elevation change. Locally harvested rocks and locust logs were used to build steps to help hikers navigate steeper sections.
