LAKE OZARK, Mo. (KY3) – Members of the Hells Angels were spotted in the Lake Ozark area earlier this week. By Saturday night, most appeared to have moved on.
Motel owner reports no issues
One business where the group left a clear presence was the Rockwood Resort Motel on the Strip. Owner Tom Stevens said 10 or 12 rooms were filled with riders earlier in the week, with several still staying there Saturday.
“Good experience with them. I’ve never had any issues with anybody on bikes or anything like that,” Stevens said.
Locals describe low-key presence
Others along the Strip shared similar accounts. A longtime local rider and staff at Alley Cat’s, both speaking off camera, said members had mostly kept to themselves and had not caused trouble. Stevens echoed the same sentiment, saying the reputation of Hells Angels as violent is far from the truth.
“Sometimes it’s unjustified. I’ve never had an issue with any of them here,” Stevens said…
