Bridge closures set for 30th annual Providence Bridge Pedal

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — For the 30th year, the Providence Bridge Pedal is taking Portlanders across the city’s bridges.

The annual summer event invites participants to stroll or cycle, with routes including a 5-mile walk over the Fremont and Steel bridges and a 23-mile route dubbed the Fremont Express. Multnomah County officials have advised drivers that some bridges will be closed due to the festivities on Sunday.
