Medina United Church of Christ, Congregational, will host Alive on the Square, an outdoor worship service at the Medina Public Square gazebo on Sunday, Aug. 23, at 10:30 a.m. The service will be followed by lunch.
“We’ll blend hymns with songs from Bob Dylan, Fleetwood Mac, Tom Petty, Oasis and more,” said the Rev. Luke Lindon. “All are welcome to sing about welcome, hope, change, love and following the way of Jesus.”
Attendees are asked to bring lawn chairs.
Following the service, Medina Creative Housing will offer sandwiches and salads from Grande Café & Roastery. The suggested donation is $10 per meal…
