Man shot in Spokane’s Garland Disitrict, suspect arrested

SPOKANE, Wash. — A shooting in the Garland District during the early morning hours of August 9th left one man hospitalized with life-threatening injuries, though he has since been upgraded to stable condition, Spokane Police said in a release.

Investigators said an argument led to the shooting near 800 W. Garland Ave, and a suspect was located shortly after fleeing the scene on foot.

Paramedics took the victim to a local hospital, where his condition later improved from life-threatening to non-life-threatening…
