Florida Man Hit 120 MPH on a 45-MPH Bridge While Smoking a Blunt

There’s having a good time while driving, and there’s totally disregarding the law. One man did both at the same time and found himself hit with the consequences for doing so. Deputies arrested a Florida driver who sped across Jacksonville’s Mathews Bridge at about 120 mph, which is almost three times the speed limit, all while smoking a lit marijuana cigar, or a blunt.

A sergeant from the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office Specialized Traffic Enforcement unit was monitoring the bridge, where the speed limit is 45 mph, when the driver passed by, as reported by WFLA.

When Sergeant White approached, the driver didn’t even remove the blunt from his mouth to talk, according to deputies. The sheriff’s office said this behavior led to an additional charge, as the driver appeared impaired while discussing the situation.
