ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. — Multiple rounds of severe storms swept through Chicagoland on Sunday, causing more damage and power outages around the area.
In northwest suburban Arlington Heights, village officials say public works crews were out as soon as the storms passed, clearing roadways so utility crews could access and repair power lines.

Most area residents had their power restored by early Monday morning, with ComEd reporting about 200 active outages, with just over 3,300 customers affected, as of about 6:30 a.m.
