CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – Monday night’s thunderstorm in the Charlottesville area caused damage at CHO, Charlottesville Albemarle Airport, that could cause delays or cancellations for travelers, according to a social media post from the airport.
“This evening’s storm caused significant damage at the airport, and our team has been working tirelessly to safely restore operations as quickly as possible,” CHO posted on its Facebook page at 8:35 p.m. “If you’re scheduled to travel, please check directly with your airline for the latest flight updates before heading to the airport, as schedules may change.”
