PALM COAST, Fla. — A now-former Miami-Dade College professor has been arrested for allegedly traveling to meet a minor.
According to authorities, 46-year-old Richard Tapia was arrested in Flagler County on July 22 after deputies said he drove an underage girl from Jacksonville to the Microtel Inn & Suites located at 16 Kingswood Drive in Palm Coast.
