JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Federal prosecutors announced a 16-count indictment Monday against 13 suspected members of a Jacksonville-based gang known as Slime Enterprise, targeting years of drug trafficking, murder and witness retaliation across the greater Jacksonville area.
U.S. Attorney Gregory W. Kehoe made the announcement alongside representatives from the Drug Enforcement Administration, the FBI, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, the Nassau County Sheriff’s Office, the Naval Criminal Investigative Service, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and the U.S. Postal Service.
“This is a killer blow to this organization,” Kehoe said.
