It almost didn’t happen at all for 15-year-old Aangad Singh, a rising junior honors student at Foran High School in Milford.
His experience in a national civics competition at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. in June – a contest he found out about just a few hours before the entry deadline – is now the subject of intense controversy, perhaps part of the culture war that’s dividing the America.
