AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – For months, Augusta residents have shown up to commission meetings and public hearings with the same questions about data centers: water, noise, power bills and whether the city is moving too fast on rules that could shape their neighborhoods for decades.
On Monday, the city is holding the first of three community meetings on a draft ordinance that would set Augusta’s first-ever rules for data centers.
