GREENVILLE, S.C. (WSPA) — A powerful thunderstorm Monday night left damage and power outages in parts of Greenville.
City officials shared photos with 7NEWS of downed trees and power lines blocking streets near the Augusta Street area. Officers with the Greenville Police Department reported Tuesday morning that Augusta Street remains closed between Rice and Old Augusta Road.
Duke Energy is at the scene after reporting more than 200 outages, south and west of Augusta Street and West Faris Road.
A restoration for power and road access has not been determined at this time…
