HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) – A Huntsville wildlife sanctuary is asking people already planning trips to Auburn to help transport injured birds to a care center there.
Quinn Wildlife Sanctuary is in the process of opening a wildlife rehabilitation and sanctuary facility in Huntsville. Until that facility opens, the group relies on three wildlife centers across Alabama to care for injured birds, which can require hours of driving.
Alexis Quinn, owner of Quinn Wildlife Sanctuary, said volunteers simply need to let the sanctuary know when they are making the trip to Auburn. If a bird needs transport around that time, the sanctuary will reach out…
