Knox County Sheriff’s Office Arrests 39 Suspects During National Retail Crime Crackdown

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WOKI) — The Knox County Sheriff’s Office says dozens of suspects were apprehended and thousands of dollars in stolen property recovered during a nationwide effort targeting organized retail crime.

From August 3 through August 7, the Sheriff’s Office participated in the 2026 National Organized Retail Crime Blitz, joining law enforcement agencies and retail partners across the country in a coordinated operation aimed at disrupting retail theft networks and fraud schemes.
