2 arrested after 12 pounds of meth found in suitcase on Greyhound bus

AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) — Two people were arrested in Amarillo after authorities found 12 pounds of methamphetamine and other suspected drugs in a suitcase aboard a Greyhound bus, according to a federal criminal complaint.

Jauntray Keon Cleveland and Jaleisia Marie Buckley are charged with possession with intent to distribute 500 grams or more of methamphetamine. The complaint was filed Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas.

An Amarillo police officer was conducting a drug interdiction operation at a Greyhound maintenance facility early Tuesday when a police dog alerted to a silver-and-tan roller suitcase in the bus’s luggage compartment, the complaint said…
