A 20-year-old man was stabbed twice in the back outside a Bronx nightlife spot early on Saturday, July 25, and more than two weeks later, police still have not identified the attacker. NYPD Crime Stoppers is now offering a reward of up to $3,500 for information leading to an arrest and indictment in the case, which unfolded around 3:33 a.m. in front of 3700 Jerome Avenue in Norwood.
According to Norwood News, the address sits beneath the Woodlawn subway station terminal at the corner of Jerome and Bainbridge avenues, the northern end of the 4 line, and is currently home to the nightlife venue Made in The Bronx. The outlet reported the victim suffered wounds to his back and shoulder before being taken in stable condition to St. Barnabas Hospital. Police say the unidentified attacker fled on foot southbound on Jerome Avenue, according to the NYPD Crime Stoppers alert, which was shared on X.

The stabbing is the latest in a string of violent incidents tied to the exact same storefront. In April 2023, a 45-year-old man was shot to death outside 3700 Jerome Avenue near the Woodlawn subway station entrance, the same report notes.
