LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — Tenants at Towne Square Apartments & Townhomes say they’ve been dealing with ongoing maintenance problems, and now several units at the property have been yellow-tagged by the City of Lansing.
The city of Lansing issued the tags Monday, affecting 460 apartment units and 64 townhome units. The tags mean the affected units failed a rental inspection and cannot be leased or advertised to new tenants until they are brought back into compliance.
Tenant Ashlei Echols says she’s dealt with water, plumbing and mold problems during her lease.
