According to The Press Democrat, the dispute focuses on claims that shoppers were not given accurate price information and that the company’s environmental messaging may have been misleading.
The publication said Tractor Supply Company “unlawfully charged customers prices higher than the lowest advertised price and sold products labeled as ‘biodegradable’ in violation of greenwashing laws.”
