AUSTIN, Texas — A 29-year-old man was arrested early Sunday morning after leading police on a pursuit in a stolen vehicle, according to the Austin Police Department.
Officers responded shortly after 12:30 a.m. Aug. 9 to a report of a stolen vehicle being tracked near East Riverside Drive and Wickersham Lane, police said. Officers located the vehicle and attempted a traffic stop, but the driver, identified as Daveon D. Williams, failed to stop and led officers on a pursuit through the area, according to APD.
