BORGER, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — The Texas Department of Transportation Amarillo District said that crews are expected to begin work on Tuesday on SH 136 between 3rd Street and the traffic circle in north Borger.
According to TxDOT officials, work crews will begin mill and fill operations on SH 136, or Cedar Street, between 3rd Street, or SH 152, and the traffic circle. The work is expected to be completed by Aug. 21.
Officials note that drivers should plan ahead or take alternative routes to reach destinations, as traffic delays are expected to occur. Drivers are encouraged to drive with caution and reduce speed through all work zones. All projects are subject ot change due to weather, emergency work, and other unexpected events.
