SHREVEPORT, La. — The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development on Thursday will begin a $9.2 million project to repair and improve a nearly 10-mile section of Colquitt Road in south Caddo Parish.
The project, which stretches from U.S. Highway 171 state Highway 169 at Spring Ridge, includes full-depth base repairs to strengthen the roadway, cross drain pipe replacement, concrete pavement patching, milling to remove old asphalt, new asphalt paving, fresh roadway striping and related work.
