HONOLULU (KHON2) — Experts are keeping an eye on the disturbed weather area, named invest 93C, which could develop into a possible tropical cyclone approaching the islands.
National Weather Service sent out an update on Tuesday, Aug. 11 regarding potential impacts to Hawaiʻi this weekend.

“Because the system has not yet developed, there is significant uncertainty in the long-range track and intensity forecasts. While it is too soon to determine the exact location or magnitude of potential storm surge, wind, and rainfall impacts associated with this system, interests in theHawaiian Islands should closely monitor the progress of the system this week,” the weather service said.
