MADISON, Ala. — Lane closures are planned along I-565 in Madison as crews prepare for the next phase of a $29 million widening project.
The closures will allow contractors to move concrete barriers and change traffic patterns as construction continues between County Line Road and Wall Triana Highway.
Nighttime lane closures
Weather permitting, a single lane will be closed for four to five nights. Work will begin around 7 p.m. and continue until about 6 a.m. the following morning.
Eastbound barriers are scheduled to be relocated Wednesday, Aug. 12, and Thursday, Aug. 13. Westbound barrier work is planned for Sunday, Aug. 16, Monday, Aug. 17, and possibly Tuesday, Aug. 18…
