WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (WAVY) — Fresh off the opening of the Greater Williamsburg Sports and Events Center, a regional body is now considering development of a live performance venue.
The Historic Triangle Recreational Facilities Authority, or HTRFA, comprised of the city of Williamsburg, James City County and York County, is currently floating a plan to build a 68,000-square-foot indoor concert hall and a 90,000-square-foot on land across the street from the sports center, some of which is occupied by the now-shuttered Cascades Motel.
The price tag is estimated to be $83 million…
