New speed cameras rolling out near schools in Stafford, Arlington counties

VIRGINIA (7News) — Drivers in Stafford and Arlington counties of Virginia will see more automated speed enforcement cameras near schools as students return for the 2026-27 school year.

In Stafford County, a 30-day warning period began Aug. 11 for newly installed cameras at Stafford Middle School, Colonial Forge High School and Edward E. Drew Middle School, according to the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office.
