GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – The National Weather Service (NWS) reports storm damage in several parts of the Upstate following Tuesday evening’s storms.
The NWS reported the following damage Tuesday:
Anderson County
- Social media reports of trees down along SC-24 near Townville around 6:15 p.m.
- Social media reports of trees down in Sandy Springs around 6:20 p.m.
Greenville County
- Multiple trees down between Slater-Marietta and Cleveland around 6:31 p.m.
- Multiple trees down near the intersection of Highway 25 and SC-11 in Tigerville around 6:40 p.m.
- Social media reports of trees down on power lines between Travelers Rest and Slater-Marietta around 6:44 p.m.
- A tree down on a power line in the Sandy Flat area around 6:56 p.m.
- Social media reports of a tree down near Wade Hampton Boulevard in Greer around 7:22 p.m.
- Multiple social media reports and pictures of trees down on the north side of Greer and in the Lake Robinson area around 7:22 p.m.
- A large oak tree was uprooted in the Greenville area around 7:33 p.m.
Oconee County
- Social media report of numerous large limbs snapped along SC-59 in Oakville around 6:25 p.m.
- Social media reports of multiple trees down and flipped chicken coops in Westminster around 6:45 p.m.
Pickens County
- Social media reports of trees down just east of Pumpkintown Highway around 6:30 p.m.
Spartanburg County
- Multiple large limbs snapped along Reidville Road in Spartanburg around 7:28 p.m.
- Reports of a tree down on a barn in the Cowpens area around 7:44 p.m.
- Multiple trees down along SC-56 between Pauline and Cross Anchor around 8:17 p.m.
- Trees down around the Cross Anchor area, including some on power lines, around 8:20 p.m.
Union County
- Multiple trees reported down in the Cross Keys area around 8:25 p.m.
