Approved: UDO update on electronic signs
Council unanimously passed second and final reading of an ordinance updating the city’s Unified Development Ordinance regarding electronic signs and displays. The measure was designed to ensure the city’s regulations regarding electronic displays reflected changes in the technology.
The update modernizes the city’s digital display standards and addresses issues of using video and animation in displays, aspects of functionality and day/night brightness caps.
Approved: Annexation of bank property on S. Highway 101
Council approved the first of two required readings of an ordinance that would annex a 1.5-acre parcel at 2840 South S.C. Highway 101 into the city and establish a zoning classification of commercial corridor…
