Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty for a mother accused of torturing and killing her 11-year-old daughter.
Authorities in a San Diego County, Calif. court announced Tuesday, Aug. 11 that they would seek the death penalty for Leticia Diane McCormack, who is accused of torturing and killing her daughter Arabella, who was adopted, a spokesperson for the San Diego County District Attorney’s Office told PEOPLE.
