Alaska Air National Guardsmen rescued a pilot after a Cessna 185 crashed near Trapper Joe Lake south of Anchorage. The crash happened August 9, about 25 miles south of Anchorage.
A helicopter from the 210th Rescue Squadron, with two pararescuemen aboard, was already on standby for the Arctic Thunder Open House.
