Georgia student airlifted to Anchorage after allergic reaction on Alaska trail

An 18-year-old Georgia student was airlifted to Anchorage for medical treatment after suffering an allergic reaction while hiking on the Resurrection Pass Trail.

Alaska State Troopers in Soldotna received a text to 911 Monday night reporting an 18-year-old having difficulty breathing near East Creek Cabin. The location was about 14 miles from the trailhead.
