FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – The youth showed out at the Young Adult Job Fair in Fresno Wednesday morning.
“We definitely knew that there was a need for an opportunity to connect our young adults with employers,” said Martha Espinosa, deputy director of the Fresno Regional Workforce Development Board.
This need materialized Wednesday morning at the Sunshine Community Care Center when applicants ranging from 16 to 24 lined up a half hour before the event even began. Espinosa says there were about 1,100 preregistrations for the fair.
