We have more dangerous heat ahead this week. Temps will reach the mid to upper 90s highs. The dreaded heat index values will hover between 103 to 110 and that’s in the danger level. It’s going to be one of those weeks to slow down and try to take it a bit easier.
In the meantime, we expect a partly cloudy sky with temps remaining in the 80s through the evening hours. There could be a stray shower or two lingering but they should be gone before 10pm. Overnight is looking partly cloudy with temps dropping into the mid to upper 70s for lows.
Thursday and Friday will look and feel very similar to the last few days. There will be lots of sunshine and temps will respond. Highs will reach the mid to upper 90s but the humidity will make it feel worse. Heat indices will range between 103 to 110.
